Catherine has been practising yoga for about 30 years and believes that, as well as helping to keep practitioners mobile, yoga adds richness and depth to life. This 10 week course will introduce the basic principles of yoga. Each session will include some discussion of the ancient Indian yoga texts, followed by some physical practices (asana), working with the breath (pranayama) and a brief meditation.
Mats and other equipment will be provided; wear loose comfortable clothing and, if the weather is cool, bring jumper and socks.
