Henry Moore was one of the most important British artists of the twentieth century, and arguably the most internationally celebrated sculptor of his day.
Experience Moore’s iconic work in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. After refreshments on arrival at 11.00 a.m., we will enjoy a tour of the artist’s former home, Hoglands. After lunch we will have a second tour (out of doors) of the artist’s studios and sculpture gardens (please dress suitably for the weather). Departure for Norwich will be at 5.00 p.m., when the centre closes.
Lunch will be available at the visitor centre or in picnic areas for those who would prefer to bring their own refreshments.
