Norfolk Poles: Stories and a film from the Norfolk Polish Heritage Group Archives Project”.

Norfolk has been a place of immigration for millennia and migrants have not been a recent or unwelcome feature of this county. The Norfolk Polish Heritage Group (NPHG) researches and celebrates Norfolk’s Polish heritage and culture since World War II. This course investigates stories from the NPHG Archive Project and includes a fascinating and emotional film produced by the course leader about his Polish father’s escape from Warsaw to Britain in 1939-1940 and the journey made 80 years later by him and his wife, following in his father’s footsteps.
