Spend the day with Norwich writer and public speaker Phyllida Scrivens, as she shares inspirational stories of luck, fate and coincidence resulting from her biographical research journeys, including for three published books  and while discovering her own family history. The session will include illustrated examples from her exploration of online genealogy sites, original newspaper reports, local history publications, and from many in-depth personal interviews.  As a mature student Phyllida graduated from UEA with an MA in Non-Fiction Creative Writing with Biography, directly leading to her three books, all published by Pen and Sword Books; Escaping Hitler (2016), The Lady Lord Mayors of Norwich (2018) and The Great Thorpe Railway Disaster 1874 (2021).
